As a candidate for West Virginia State Senate District 17, Chris is dedicated to advancing key initiatives that will ensure every West Virginian experiences REAL improvements in their lives, such as eliminating the state income tax, ending the WOKE agenda, defending the border, and ensuring election integrity.
Chris is aware of the impacts of detrimental policies implemented by DC politicians and Joe Biden, such as high inflation and taxes, and pledges to work towards enacting laws that mitigate the harmful effects of such policies.
Serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, Chris has fought for a more business-friendly state and to protect individual rights. This includes advocating for lower taxes, a simpler tax code, getting rid of regulations that hurt business or do not serve the public interest, and preserving the liberty of all West Virginians.
Chris is committed to his pro-life stance and unwavering in his support for the Second Amendment.
A staunch advocate for public education, Chris is dedicated to providing West Virginia students with a world-class education. He also believes in prioritizing policies that enable teachers to receive competitive salaries.
Chris recognizes the urgent need to address the drug crisis gripping West Virginia. He has been a vocal advocate in the House of Delegates for policies aimed at combating substance abuse and addiction. He understands that solving this crisis is pivotal for the state’s economic advancement.
Politics aside, family is at the heart of Chris’s life, and he cherishes every moment spent with his wife, Kelly, and two children, Jackson and Owen. Their Christian faith guides their family values and principles.
Chris’ parents taught him the value of hard work and community service which led him and his wife Kelly, to found their law firm, Pritt & Pritt, PLLC, in Charleston, West Virginia. While they have experienced firsthand the challenges of entrepreneurship in the state, they are rewarded knowing that their law firm has employed numerous people over the years.
In his leisure time, Chris enjoys delving into constitutional studies, exploring the outdoors, and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
